I am sure that when you walk round the school, you will receive a warm welcome from staff and pupils. Also see for yourselves the wide range of learning experiences we can offer your child in a purposeful and happy environment.
If your child is already with us, please come and say hello, join us for special events and share with us in supporting your child's learning.

About The School
Ashgate Croft School is an Area Special School within Derbyshire Local Authority, with 140 pupils currently on role (YR-Y14), ranging widely in cognitive and physical ability and needs.
The majority of pupils have severe learning difficulties and would have difficulty coping in a mainstream school. Some of our pupils have profound and multiple learning difficulties, with an increasing number on the autism spectrum. A few pupils have moderate learning difficulties.
Class sizes range from 6-12 pupils. Smaller class sizes have become an essential feature of the education for some pupils with autism and/or extremely challenging behaviour.
